What’s with the wisdom, wealth, and courage?

Most of my life, and still more days than I care to admit I’ve been foolish, broke and scared. And those three things kept me from accomplishing the things I said I wanted in the first half of my life. So, once confronted with my mid-life reset, I chose three words and phrases to guide the rest of my life. Wisdom. Wealth. Courage. Each of these words and the philosophy behind them have been carefully chosen and evolved throughout my 40’s. These now guide my second half of life and are the ideas I share with my coaching clients.

What’s with The Second Half Guy™?

A friend of mine who knows me pretty well and I were at a sports bar in Austin, TX watching a Brown’s game (he’s the Brown’s fan, not me). He asked how my coaching was going and then said he had an idea. He said I should be “The Second Half Guy” and help people make the rest of their life the best of their life. (Also, while it’s obvious now, I resisted it for nearly 2 years).

In short, I’m just a 50+ guy who loves reading, writing, sharing big ideas with others, and coaching others to make the rest of their life the best of their life. Everything I do revolves around unleashing the power of language to create new worlds for myself and my clients.
